User Style question

Post by bigcfk »

How would I switch two columns on a page with a userstyle?
ebay has a summary column with links and such, and then the watching column is on the other side. Is it possible to switch them?

Or autoload the page scrolled to the right?

Thanks

jQuery *should* do the trick.

Here is a link I found: http://jebaird.com/blog/dragtable-jquer ... -drag-drop

EDIT: Wait.. I think I understood you wrong. Are you trying to recreate this functionality on a page you are creating, or trying to do something with greasemonkey on eBay?

Yes, you can do this with a custom userstyle.... unfortunately, ive always sucked in the CSS department... i cant even float things next to eachother without setting something on fire :(

askmeques, on the other hand.....

she designed these: www.whatigaut.com and www.schwippy.com :)

I can do stuff from scratch but its such a pain in the ass to edit something someone else made. Plus, I have no clue how to write userscripts.

Wow, think you could help me make a wordpress template, or an actual website, perhaps?
I'm still debating pros and cons between the two.

A decent CMS with a great custom theme is the way to go. The real trouble is being able to make that great custom theme, but even more so finding a great CMS (most of pieces of shit).

Wordpress may very well be a great CMS. If being used by major companies with major web prescience is any indication then it is the best non custom CMS out there, both for price and features.
