The stuff Koush has been working on is the only reason I would root my phone.

I have to say that the active display on the Moto X is an absolute killer feature that you simply can't appreciate until you use it for a few days.

A better name however would probably be "passive display" since it just doesn't get in the way. The only thing I don't like is you can't manage multiple notifications, but it's not a drawback since you are the same number of steps away from dealing with multiple ones as you would be on any other phone.

My Moto X won't sync anymore after I disabled syncing to save battery one day (obviously I've enabled it since). For example, I clicked the SnapChat app and was flooded with like 20 snaps from people that I didn't even know I had. GMail is the same way.

Necropost.

My current phone is the Pixel 2 XL. My previous was the Samsung Galaxy 6.

These XL-sized phones aren't too bad.

Close to 2.5 years with the Pixel 2 XL and I love it. It's still fast. It still has an impressive battery life. It rocks as a miniature TV.

The unlimited data (added for the Disney+ promo) is great stuff.

Oh, and the last update to the OS other than maybe 1-2 security updates? Let's see how long I can rock this phone.

I'm on the iPhone bandwagon. Still rocking a 7plus. Looking forward to the 12 released later this year.
