what AIM version are you using?

On the sign in screen have you tried opening up your connection settings and reseting the Proxy settings.. To try to get Middle_Man Back in the middle?

Do the AIM servers have rate limiting on pulling up profiles? That would be another thing to get around.

from the image you are using 5.9.3797 and are you against upgrading/downgrading AIM? what about using the newest version of Beta 3 Middle_Man?

Were you using AIM 5.9? Because that could have beena problem. Seeing how you were able to just reinstall M_M 2 and boom it worked.

Both of these program in there settings should have places where you can disable the check if they are the default program. Strangely its usually part of that pop up to not ask you again.
