It -should- be able to correctly display middle_man beta 2, aiMutation, Messenger:Mate, and I think Palfun logs. DeadAIM logs will still be displayed, but some formatting and all embedded graphics and files will not show.

...Nah. Each program uses its own logging format... DeadAIM converts the raw AOL RTF (similar to HTML) to something readable by a browser, preserving background colors but not smiley sets. aiMutation and Messenger:Mate log the AOL RTF format directly, preserving all details of the conversation. Because of the method beta 3 uses to "proxy", and because of a similar bug in the program ProfileXtender (which uses the same method), I'd say this is more likely a Middle_Man bug. It isn't, however, the same bug that was in beta 2.

As soon as I get fed up with using Messenger:Mate, but that probably won't be for a long time because I hardly ever use AIM these days.

It likely prevents high SQL loads (caused by searching), which, in a large volume, may significantly slow down overall site speed.
