I believe it gets those screennames from the ones that are in the AIM signon dropdown box. On the AIM signon screen, select the screenname you don't want, then press the delete key.

I am having the same problem. I noticed that I cannot send files to people who also use middle_man beta 3 with AIM 5.9

Otherwise, it usually works (if they just have AIM)

That feature is not in beta 3 (yet)

If you decide to use beta 2, then the command for the profile is $wa_song

be advised that while beta2 has more features, it is not as solid as beta 3.

Sure, just find your log folder by looking to see where they are saved in preferences (usually C:\Program Files\middle_man\logs) and paste it onto the new computer.

What version of middle_man are you using/ And what do you mean it's not working? can you give us any more detail

Make sure you are using the AIM from the site and middle_man 3 (not 2)... Try uninstalling middle_man, then AIM, then reinstalling AIM and then middle_man.

Are you using the latest version of middle_man? Also, what AIM version are you using. Make sure it is unmodified.

It's an AIM feature.

On the away message dialog box, check the option: "allow sending of messages"
