If you're using Middleman beta 3, then it is not supposed to work. The feature was taken out for the release of beta 3; it will be incorporated in a future build.

I hope you don't have so many song lyric away messages that you couldn't just put them under "Johnny Goode" instead of "Song lyrics->Johnny Goode"

They're in a different folder; they probably have NOT been deleted. I don't know exactly which folder that is, but you could run a computer search in the C drive for the term "logs" or "middleman", or even a text-in-file search for your screenname.

The friends that I like know that logging is quite handy and logical.

The friends that I put up with think it's creepy and that I'm a stalker.
I don't even use away message...
whyyyyy? It's THERE, and it's practically the same thing as idle! The only use I can see in controlled idle time is if you log off for the night, go away, eventually go idle, and then you have to go back on because you forgot to upload something ...

A. Guh, does no one mind away messages anymore? I know some people use them as a more temporary part of their profile instead of an indicator of away...ness, but aaaaa! Just edit your profile!
B. It'll be included in a future build of Beta 3.

This thread is full of confuuuuuuusion.

By "in nature", I thought he meant that the nature of the function was to do it exactly immediately.

Then you get the people that pounce on you right as you sign on. Signing on invisible lets you check to see who's around first and if you really want to sign on or not.
This is why AOL has provided us with a generous "block" feature. And uhhhh....
Its just a matter of preferences or convenience.
This is why AOL has provided us with a generous "block" feature.

And uhhhh... I don't actually know anyone faggy enough to pounce me right when I sign on. Guess you guys just suck at friends. =]
