Define chat sessions? If by session you mean, whenever you open a new IM window to a person you start a new "session"... then the answer is middle_man does not log when the session ends "yet"; however, we do know about them. J3utton: older versions will eventually be supported. Our aim is to start small.

cokalsM: The new features are going to be added in quickly... we don't have a time period at which we'll do that. But we're actively working on stuff.

Jeff - currently there is no functionality to remove middle_man from the menu, however, perhaps in the future this will be added.
