Middle_Man

Hi folks,

Harry received word from the people who host the current middle_man server that it will be going down "sometime soon." As a preemptive attempt to keep this forum alive, he asked me to take control of it. As you can see, we are now hosted on a different domain and host (mine).

Now that I have some more control and that I am a little more active, we can do some more things with the forum. I do not intend on opening registration or making this forum public in any way, shape, or form. If you guys feel more comfortable, I could put even more limitations on who has access. I'm open to suggestions. But we could do things like *gasp* rename it.

Also I realize that a few things may be broken and not working. I will try to get those working ASAP. Post if something isn't working for you.

YES. why did that ever go away?

It was a greasemonkey script centric to the other domain. Really just a simple line of code change would fix the script, but it would be much nicer to have it installed as a mod.

...And I say that from both a end user perspective and a developer phpBB forum admin. phpBB mods are so damn easy to install. Even the "hardest" ones typically are so because of a lot of editing of files (instead of a little).

...I love phpBB...

Updated forum this evening to 3.0.8. Let me know if anything broke.
