EDIT: I'm having a hard time figuring out which subreddit to put it on. Should it be /r/technology? /r/christmas? I want it to get viewers, so putting it on a subreddit no one sees is kinda pointless (i.e. /r/christmas)...

haha, thats the same problem i had for SU. Couldnt figure out what category a controllable xmas tree goes into

Well, I got the email 
How y'all doing? I'm barely online these days (as a matter of fact our new apartment didnt have internet until last week), and by chance I checked the old yahoo account, and saw the schwippy tree email.
Anyway, I got pretty confused when I saw (on schwippytree) Matt linked to a site which I never heard of, and then saw that it was m_m and got even more confused.. but after reading that other thread (w/ harry) i think im unconfused..
Hope everyone's doin well!!

I know this is a very long shot, but you should ask YouTube for a streaming account.
Other then not being a huge name, the biggest problem would probably be that is streams for half a month.
Still probably worth a shot though. Google could find it cool enough to make a exception to whatever requirements they have for streaming accounts.
