I happen to think that the NYC landscape beats the nature landscape every time. Don't get me wrong... I love nature, but buildings? Their just perfect. I love city landscapes, but even I would have to admit that not all can compare to what nature has to offer as a rule of thumb. That said under perfect conditions for both... I don't think I have seen a natural place that looks as great as NYC all lit up as the sun is setting.

The problem is you need a wide shot to capture the glory that can be nature where as a city can cram so much into a small space and still see it all because there is so much the same over and over.

And the NYC isn't shopped to high hell?

The below pic isn't fake...it is taken with a long exposure time leading to awesome water looks. I know this because my friend does it all the time.
