So the EVO 3D has two 5 MP cameras on the back.
Does that mean a 2D picture taken with (presumably) both cameras would be higher then 5 MP? Is it even possible to take it with two? I would think so if you cut off some of what you would get from taking a 3D picture.
...But I have 1% knowledge of cameras so....
Edit: If I waited a few more seconds in the video Engadget answered my question

From my understanding MP are decided by software. You can have a 100000000MP picture but if your CMOS sensor is only 1/8in across then the picture will turn out to be shit.
