Is there an app that I can install on my droid then if I ever loose it I can erase everything on it except for the basic installed apps?
I lost my phone last night, and I thought this would be a good thing to have.

Not being a droid owner, I don't know for sure. But I vaguely remember hearing something about an app like that. Idk if it was Android or iOS or what though…

Lookout.
Remote wipe is a premium service, but I don't see any reason why you can't just upgrade when you lose your phone. Lookout is just good software to have anyways.

Plus you can do the locate thing...
Locate your phone down to a address, and then activate the siren.
And you can't deactivate the siren that runs for 1 minute if your a malicious person with the phone trying not to get caught.

If you can do that in less then a second it might work. Taking the phone out of your pocket though probably isn't helping matters for you though.
