Pop up Ads for Beta 2

Post by []DaT_MaNN03 »

I downloaded the one that doesn't say (ads), and I'm still getting those pop up ads from usave or w/e which is annoying.

Anyway to get rid of it without gettin rid of middle man?

Hmm.. that's odd. Usually the installer with the ads has an additional EULA that you need to accept for the third party software to install. Just clean off the adware with spybot/adaware/windows defender/spysweeper and you should be fine.

I'd suggest using beta 3. It is much more solid and many popular beta 2 features are coming soon.

Edit: I verified both downloads and they are both the installers that include Save

I've fixed the problem -- should be a clean delicious installer for b2.

My apologies -- it was directly my fault (I did the web redesign).

Grumble grumble.

Seriously, Harry, how much revenue have you made from the ads version?

Somewhere between "enough to buy a beer" and "enough to buy a plasma TV."

Somehow I doubt they'll release that info. If they do, color me surprised.
